What is Monozukuri?

Monozukuri (物作り) is a Japanese concept meaning "the art of making things" — the idea that craft, skill, and passion are inseparable from the objects we create. It's a philosophy of intentionality: that the process of making is just as meaningful as the finished piece.

That philosophy lives at the heart of this
Albuquerque creative space. Monozukuri is a brick-and-mortar destination where five distinct creative businesses share a space, a spirit, and a commitment to handmade quality. From bespoke menswear cut from Japanese denim to surrealist evening gowns, whimsical art prints to Indigenous fine art, and high-end fabric sourced from around the world, Monozukuri is a place where the act of making is celebrated every single day.
